Proceed to Chiang Rai, visit to a hilltribe village. Continue to Golden Triangle on the Mekong River where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos convene. Take a short boat trip at the Golden Triangle area. If time allows, visit Chiang Saen, the former capital of the first Thai Kingdom. Visit Wat Phra Dhat Jom Kitti by climbing up 383 steps to the top of the hill.
Return to Chiang Rai.
