Full Day Tour – Visit the Lampang Elephant Conservation Centre. See Elephants bathing and an excellent demonstration of their skills. There is also possibility for optional elephant rides for a small fee. The center also houses the only Elephant Hospital in Thailand. This is a sanctuary for ill or injured elephants. For the shopper, Lampang town is noted for production of blue and white pottery. Within the city you can enjoy rides on the horse drawn carriage, for which Lampang is famous. Visitor will also have a chance to visit Wat Prathat Lampang Luang, one of the most interesting and important temples in Northern Thailand. Several large Bodhi trees are used as shrines around the compound. Lunch is in Lampang and then move on to Lamphun. It’s an ancient city with many old temples.
