Pick up/Drop off based on Chiang Mai hotel in downtown

Full Day Tour – Leave for Mae Kampong village, Mae On sub-district, by van through Chiang Mai picturesque countryside, stop will be made at a local market. You will have a chance to buy ingredients for self-cooking dinner at the village in the evening. Then proceed to Mae Kampong village (50 kms. away), approximately 1 hour drive. Mae Kampong village is the perfect destination to experience the unspoiled beauty of nature. You will be welcomed by local villagers and can take a glimpse at their unique while taking in beautiful scenery. The village is 1,300 meters above sea level with an average temperature of 10-18c throughout the year. Upon arrival you will walk through the community forest, where the villagers grow tea and coffee, to see how they preserve their forest and how they live in harmony with nature. It is a good example for self sufficient economy. Lunch will be provided. After lunch you relax with Thai traditional massage. Then walk around the village to witness fermented tea leaves process and hand made products.
